Proof of Attendance

• If you are unable to attend the St. Clare's Confirmation Retreat and plan to attend a retreat elsewhere, please notify Elizabeth Selmarten prior to registering and submit a Proof of Attendance Form (See below) upon returning. 
• Those attending a St. Clare's retreat do not need to submit a Proof of Attendance form. Attendance will be verified at the retreat. 

Brave the Wilderness is a week long, overnight retreat for high school students hosted and put together by several parishes from the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. Held at Forest Glen in Huntsville, Texas, Brave gives students an opportunity to grow deeper in their relationship with Christ while experiencing His love in the midst of His creation. Amidst the beauty of Sam Houston National Forest, Brave the Wilderness and Expedition allow teens to meet members of other local parishes within our deanery while building lasting relationships with them and with Christ. Camp activities include zipline, rockwall, swimming, competition games, nightly talks, prayer experiences, daily Mass and so much more!

Brave is open to students enrolled in 9th-12th grade for the 2024-2025 school year. Transportation, food & a t-shirt are provided. Spots are limited so register and reserve your today by contacting Elizabeth Selmarten and filling out the form. The initial payment will be a $110 deposit. Full payment is due by April 1, 2025. Scholarships are available so do not let money be an issue.
